Colin Allred, Texas

Colin Allred is a Democratic former U.S. Representative from Texas' 32nd Congressional District who served from 2019 to 2025. A Baylor University graduate with a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, he played five seasons in the NFL as a linebacker for the Tennessee Titans before practicing civil rights and voting rights law at a top firm and serving as a special assistant in the Obama administration's Department of Housing and Urban Development. In Congress he served on the Foreign Affairs and Transportation committees, championing infrastructure, veterans' services, and bipartisan governance, and ran a competitive 2024 Senate race against Ted Cruz.
