Dana Barrett, Georgia

Dana Barrett is a Fulton County Commissioner and Democratic candidate for Georgia Secretary of State. A former technology executive turned small business owner and talk radio host, she was elected to the Fulton County Commission in 2022 after defeating a longtime Republican incumbent in the Buckhead and Sandy Springs area. She has drawn national attention for her willingness to defy court orders to block what she called politically motivated appointments to the county elections board, and is running for Secretary of State on a platform of election security, modernization, and support for small businesses.
