Joe Dalia is a Democratic member of the Nevada State Assembly representing District 29 in Henderson and a candidate for State Treasurer in 2026. Born in Boston and raised in Henderson, he graduated with high honors from Boston University in Economics and earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, then spent nearly a decade as an attorney in the venture capital and technology industry, most recently at Meta. In his first Assembly term he championed legislation to establish a dedicated business court in Nevada — cited by Andreessen Horowitz as a reason for incorporating in the state — and is running for Treasurer on a platform of saving the Millennium Scholarship, expanding affordable housing, and modernizing state asset management.
