Kevin Stitt is the 28th Governor of Oklahoma, serving since 2019 and reelected in 2022. A Georgetown University graduate, he founded Gateway Mortgage Group in 2000 and grew it into one of the largest mortgage companies in the country before entering politics. A member of the Cherokee Nation, he is the first tribally enrolled Native American governor in the nation's history and has focused on cutting state spending, attracting business investment, criminal justice reform, and positioning Oklahoma as a pro-business, low-regulation state.
