Lauren is a Harvard, Yale and Oxford-educated lawyer who has argued campaign finance cases at the Supreme Court and spent 6 years at the State Department advising two Secretaries and the UN Ambassador.
She comes from a family of local business owners in the district that have been running "Baer's Furniture" for over 50 years. Lauren and her wife are raising their young daughter in the community she calls home. She’s eager to fight for the middle class and families like hers.
