BRYAN SANCHEZ

 
 

Bryan Sanchez is a seasoned, C-level executive and corporate advisor with 25-years of experience in corporate leadership and large-scale investment management.  Bryan currently serves as a Senior Advisor for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he works on engagements relating to real estate, cities and the built environment for both private and public sector clients.  

Bryan built his extensive expertise in real estate investment over two decades of increasingly senior roles, culminating as CEO, at Lionstone Investments.  Lionstone is a data-driven real estate investment firm that conceptualizes, analyzes, and executes national investment strategies using proprietary analytics and research on behalf of leading institutional investors.  As CEO, Bryan was responsible for executing the firm’s long-term business plan and overseeing a staff of 70 professionals who managed $10 billion of assets across the United States.  Prior to his elevation to CEO, Bryan served for several years as Lionstone’s Chief Investment Officer.  In this role, he developed and executed the firm’s investment strategy, directing an average of $1.0 billion of new investments annually. In 2017, Bryan played a key role in Lionstone’s sale to Ameriprise Financial (NYSE: AMPF), a Fortune 500 financial services firm. 

Prior to joining Lionstone in 2005, Bryan was an associate at Verde Realty, a real estate investment firm focused on the U.S.–Mexico border.  Before earning his MBA, Bryan served as chief-of-staff to the CEO of Seven Seas Petroleum Inc., a publicly-traded oil exploration company with operations in Colombia.

Bryan is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) where he serves as a Global Governing Trustee and a board member of ULI Americas Executive Committee. Bryan also serves on the board and executive committee of AFIRE, an international association of real estate investors.  

Beyond his professional pursuits, Bryan has actively contributed to his community by serving on the boards of numerous organizations, including the National Hispanic Institute, Emerge Scholars, the Harris County Housing Finance Corporation, the Texas Lyceum, the Houston East Downtown Redevelopment Authority (TIRZ 15) and the HBS Club of Houston.  He is also an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). 

Bryan was raised in Santa Fe, NM and is a graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Business School.  He lives in Houston with his wife and two children.
