DAN SELZ - DIRECTOR OF INNOVATION

Dan is Leadership Now's Director of Innovation, where he works with our members and partners to ideate, implement and scale new solutions to strengthen and improve our democracy.

He comes to Leadership Now having spent over five years at the XPRIZE Foundation, most recently as the Vice President of Partnerships and Impact. During his time at XPRIZE, Dan led the design of the $100M XPRIZE Carbon Removal competition, the largest privately funded competition in history, designed to catalyze breakthrough technologies across air, land and oceans. He also oversaw an ecosystem of over 200 partners providing an annual in-kind value of over $10M per year to the Foundation and led the implementation of a new impact measurement framework. Prior to XPRIZE, Dan got his MBA at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, with certifications in technology commercialization and data analytics. Before that, Dan had a diverse career spanning entertainment and politics, having worked in Mumbai on a Bollywood movie and in rural Pennsylvania on a national presidential campaign.
