Scott Galloway

Scott Galloway is a clinical professor of marketing at the NYU Stern School of Business, a serial entrepreneur, and one of the most widely followed voices in business and media. Known for his sharp, data-driven commentary on technology, capitalism, and culture, Galloway reaches millions through his podcast, Prof G Pod, his newsletter No Mercy / No Malice, and his recurring appearances on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.
Galloway has founded nine companies, including L2, a business intelligence firm acquired by Gartner in 2017, and Red Envelope, an e-commerce retailer. He is also a co-founder of Section, an executive education platform designed to bring the rigor of top-tier business school curricula to working professionals. His books — including The Four, The Algebra of Wealth, and Adrift — have been international bestsellers, offering provocative analyses of Big Tech, economic inequality, and the challenges facing younger generations.
He has served on the boards of directors of The New York Times Company, Urban Outfitters, and Panera Bread, among others. Galloway is also a vocal advocate on issues of higher education reform and economic opportunity.
Galloway holds a BA in Economics from UCLA and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
