WSJ Spotlights Leadership Now Summit on Preparing the Workforce for the AI Economy

The Wall Street Journal — June 25, 2026

How do we prepare America's workforce for the AI economy? The answer isn't to slow innovation — it's to lead it responsibly.

In a new Wall Street Journal story by Chip Cutter, Leadership Now Project’s Summit is highlighted for bringing business leaders together to tackle one of the defining questions of our time: how do we prepare America’s workforce for the AI economy?

The answer isn’t to slow innovation. It’s to lead it responsibly.

That’s why AI was a focus of this year’s Summit, where Warren Valdmanis moderated a conversation with Alexa von Tobel, Mike Novogratz, Dane Linn, and Jonathan Frankle on what business, policymakers, and experts must do now to ensure AI strengthens American competitiveness while creating opportunity for workers.

The discussion was built on Leadership Now’s Business Plan for America launch, which calls for shifting tax policies to promote work, modernizing the safety net, and investing in workforce training and reskilling so Americans can thrive in the jobs of tomorrow.
