Aaron Ford is Nevada's Attorney General and a Democratic candidate for governor in 2026. A Texas Southern University graduate with a J.D. from Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, he practiced corporate law and served as Nevada Senate Majority Leader from 2017 to 2019 before being elected Attorney General in 2018 and reelected in 2022. As AG he has focused on consumer protection, combating prescription drug price gouging, addressing the housing affordability crisis, and prosecuting human trafficking, and is running for governor on a platform centered on affordability and economic opportunity.
