Steven Horsford, Nevada

Steven Horsford is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving Nevada's 4th Congressional District. A University of Nevada, Reno graduate, he became the youngest and first African American Nevada Senate Majority Leader in 2009, then served one term in the U.S. House before working as CEO of the Culinary Training Academy in Las Vegas, which provides workforce development for the hospitality industry. Returning to Congress in 2023, he serves on the Ways and Means Committee and has focused on workforce training, tax policy, veterans' services, and economic diversification for working families in one of Nevada's most diverse districts.
