April McClain Delaney, Maryland

April McClain Delaney is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving Maryland's 6th Congressional District since 2023. A Princeton graduate with a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, she practiced telecommunications law and co-founded Common Sense Media with her husband, former Congressman John Delaney, before serving as a commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission. In Congress she serves on the Agriculture and Armed Services committees, focusing on rural broadband access, farm policy, military community support, and bipartisan infrastructure investment in western Maryland.
