Bobby Pulido, Texas

Bobby Pulido is a Democratic nominee for Texas' 15th Congressional District in 2026. Born and raised in Edinburg, Texas — the son of legendary Tejano musician Roberto Pulido and grandson of a farmworker — he studied political science at St. Mary's University before launching a genre-defining music career, becoming one of Tejano's biggest stars with a platinum debut album, eight Tejano Music Awards, and two Latin Grammys including Best Tejano Album in 2025. After three decades in music and a career as a small business owner, he is running on a platform of affordability, healthcare access, and reconnecting with working-class Latino voters across the Rio Grande Valley and central Texas.
