Taylor Rehmet, Texas

Taylor Rehmet is a Democratic member of the Texas State Senate representing District 09 since 2026. An Air Force veteran and aerospace machinist at Lockheed Martin, he serves as president of his local International Association of Machinists union chapter. He flipped a traditionally Republican Senate seat in a 2026 special election runoff, running on a worker-focused agenda centered on labor rights, manufacturing jobs, affordable healthcare, and fighting for working families in the Fort Worth suburbs.
