Annie Andrews, South Carolina

Dr. Annie Andrews earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton and a medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, completing her residency and fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. A practicing pediatrician in the Charleston area for nearly two decades, she ran for South Carolina's 1st Congressional District in 2022. Endorsed by 314 Action and the DSCC, she gained national attention during a South Carolina measles outbreak for her public health advocacy. Her priorities include protecting access to affordable health care, defending Social Security and Medicare, and investing in public education and scientific research.
