Brittany Pettersen, Colorado

Brittany Pettersen is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving Colorado’s 7th Congressional District since 2023. A graduate of the University of Colorado Denver, she served in the Colorado State House and Senate for nearly a decade, where she championed mental health and addiction policy — driven by her family’s personal experience with the opioid crisis. In Congress she serves on the Financial Services Committee and focuses on lowering costs for working families, expanding access to mental health care, and housing affordability.
