Brendan Boyle, Pennsylvania

Brendan Boyle is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving Pennsylvania’s 2nd Congressional District since 2015. The son of an Irish immigrant who worked as a janitor at the SEPTA bus depot, he graduated from the University of Notre Dame and earned an M.P.P. from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives before entering Congress, where he serves as Ranking Member of the Budget Committee and focuses on fiscal policy, tax reform, manufacturing, Social Security protection, and U.S.-Ireland relations.
