Janelle Stelson, Pennsylvania

Janelle Stelson is a Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District in 2026. Born in Fairbanks, Alaska and raised in Seattle, she graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Politics and Government and built a nearly 40-year career as a broadcast journalist, spending 26 years as the lead news anchor at WGAL-TV in Lancaster, where she won multiple Emmy Awards and became one of the most recognized media figures in central Pennsylvania. She narrowly lost to incumbent Scott Perry in 2024 by roughly one percentage point, and is running again on a platform of lowering healthcare costs, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and bringing accountability and independence to Congress.
