Chuck Kopp, Alaska

Chuck Kopp is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives and current House Majority Leader, representing Anchorage's District 10. A lifelong Alaskan raised in Iliamna, he earned a B.A. in Justice from the University of Alaska Anchorage and spent over twenty years in law enforcement, serving as Chief of Police in Kenai and as a certified polygraph examiner who resolved multiple high-profile homicide cases. He also served as an advisor to Governors Murkowski and Palin and co-founded Winfluence Strategies, an Anchorage-based public affairs firm, before returning to the legislature in 2025.
