Jesse Bjorkman, Alaska

Jesse Bjorkman is a Republican member of the Alaska State Senate representing District D on the Kenai Peninsula since 2023, where he chairs the Labor and Commerce Committee. Born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, he earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Michigan State University and has lived in Alaska since 2009, working as a government teacher at Nikiski High School and as a commercial fisherman.
