Emilia Sykes, Ohio

Congresswoman Emilia Sykes represents Ohio’s 13th District. Before Congress, she served eight years in the Ohio House, including two as Minority Leader, where she worked across the aisle on public safety and economic development. In the U.S. House, she serves on the Transportation & Infrastructure and Science, Space & Technology Committees and is a member of the New Democrat Coalition and Problem Solvers Caucus. Emilia holds degrees from Kent State University and the University of Florida and is focused on lowering costs, expanding opportunity, and ensuring accountable government.
