Vicente Gonzalez, Texas

Vicente Gonzalez is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving Texas' 34th Congressional District since 2017. Born to Mexican immigrant parents in Corpus Christi, he worked as a banker before earning his J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law, then built a successful personal injury law practice in McAllen. In Congress he serves on the Foreign Affairs and Financial Services committees, focusing on border security, trade with Mexico, veterans' services, healthcare access, and economic development for the Rio Grande Valley.
