Mikie Sherrill, New Jersey

Mikie Sherrill is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District since 2019. A U.S. Naval Academy graduate who flew Sea King helicopters on missions throughout Europe and the Middle East, she served nearly a decade as a Navy pilot before earning her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and working as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey. In Congress she serves on the Armed Services and Science, Space, and Technology committees, focusing on national security, STEM education, infrastructure investment, and veterans’ affairs.
