Sarah Godlewski is a Democratic candidate for Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District in 2026 and the former Wisconsin State Treasurer. A University of Wisconsin–Madison graduate with an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, she worked in finance and government oversight before being elected Treasurer in 2018, where she focused on financial literacy, unclaimed property, and fiscal transparency. She ran for U.S. Senate in 2022 before dropping out to support the eventual nominee, and later served as a senior advisor at the U.S. Small Business Administration during the Biden administration.
