Helena Foulkes earned a bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She spent 25 years at CVS Health, rising to president of CVS Pharmacy, where she led the company's landmark decision to stop selling tobacco products. She later served as CEO of Hudson's Bay Company. After coming within 3,300 votes of winning the 2022 Democratic gubernatorial primary, she has partnered with the mayor of Central Falls to improve public schools and served on boards of Rhode Island nonprofits combating homelessness and domestic violence. Her priorities include building 20,000 affordable housing units, delivering a middle-class tax cut, and creating an inspector general's office.
