Chris Pappas, New Hampshire

Chris Pappas is a Democratic former U.S. Representative from New Hampshire and a candidate for U.S. Senate in 2026. A Harvard University graduate, he is a third-generation owner of Puritan Backroom, his family's well-known restaurant in Manchester, and served on the New Hampshire Executive Council and in the state legislature before winning election to the U.S. House in 2018, where he served three terms representing the 1st Congressional District. In Congress he served on the Transportation and Veterans' Affairs committees, focusing on infrastructure, small business support, veterans' services, and lowering prescription drug costs.
