Greg Stanton is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving Arizona's 4th Congressional District since 2019. A Marquette University graduate and University of Michigan law school alumnus, he served nine years on the Phoenix City Council, then as Arizona's Deputy Attorney General combating mortgage fraud and drug trafficking, before being elected Mayor of Phoenix in 2011, where he reshaped the city's economy around innovation and secured a historic voter-approved public transportation expansion. In Congress he serves on the Transportation and Infrastructure and Foreign Affairs committees and co-chairs the Congressional Extreme Heat Caucus, focusing on water security, infrastructure investment, and lowering costs for working families.
