Hillary Scholten, Michigan

Hillary Scholten is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving Michigan's 3rd Congressional District since 2023. A Calvin University graduate with a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, she worked as an immigration attorney at the Department of Justice under the Obama administration and later at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, representing asylum seekers and unaccompanied children. In Congress she serves on the Agriculture and Judiciary committees and is a member of the Democratic Women's Caucus, focusing on immigration reform, agricultural policy, and protecting healthcare access in western Michigan.
