Jon Ossoff, Georgia

Jon Ossoff is a Democratic U.S. Senator from Georgia, elected in the January 2021 runoff that gave Democrats control of the Senate. A Georgetown University and London School of Economics graduate, he worked as a national security aide to Congressman John Lewis and then spent over a decade as CEO of Insight TWI, an investigative journalism production company whose documentaries exposed corruption, organized crime, and human rights abuses in over a dozen countries. In the Senate he serves on the Judiciary, Homeland Security, and Banking committees, focusing on government accountability, economic competitiveness, and civil rights.
