Lucy McBath, Georgia

Lucy McBath is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving Georgia’s 7th Congressional District since 2023, having previously represented the 6th District from 2019 to 2023. A Virginia State University graduate and former Delta Air Lines flight attendant, she became a nationally recognized gun safety advocate after the 2012 murder of her 17-year-old son, Jordan Davis, at a Florida gas station over a dispute about loud music. She serves on the Judiciary Committee and focuses on gun violence prevention, voting rights, healthcare access, and education policy.
