Raphael Warnock, Georgia

Raphael Warnock is a Democratic U.S. Senator from Georgia, first elected in the January 2021 runoff and reelected in 2022. A Morehouse College graduate with a Ph.D. from Union Theological Seminary, he has served since 2005 as Senior Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta — the historic congregation once led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Before entering politics, he spent decades as a pastor and activist focused on voting rights, healthcare access, and criminal justice reform, and in the Senate serves on the Banking, Commerce, and Agriculture committees.
