Pat Ryan, New York

Pat Ryan is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving New York’s 18th Congressional District since 2023. A West Point graduate who served two combat tours in Iraq as an Army intelligence officer, earning the Bronze Star, he went on to found a small technology business and served as Ulster County Executive before entering Congress. In the House he serves on the Armed Services and Transportation committees, focusing on veterans’ services, infrastructure, affordable housing, and protecting reproductive rights — an issue he campaigned on prominently when he won a 2022 special election that was seen as a bellwether for Democratic enthusiasm.
