Dan Osborn, Nebraska

Dan Osborn is a Nebraska labor leader and independent candidate for the U.S. Senate. A Navy veteran and industrial mechanic, he serves as president of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union Local 50G in Omaha. He gained national attention in 2021 when he led workers at a Kellogg's cereal plant in a 77-day strike that drew widespread media coverage and resulted in an improved contract. He has positioned himself as a working-class populist outside the two-party system, focusing on workers' rights, reducing corporate influence in politics, and lowering costs for working families.
