Eugene Vindman, Virginia

Eugene Vindman is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving Virginia’s 7th Congressional District since 2025. A West Point graduate with a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, he served over two decades in the U.S. Army as a lieutenant colonel, including deployments in Iraq and postings on the National Security Council, where he — alongside his twin brother Alexander — became a key figure in the first impeachment of President Trump. In Congress he serves on the Armed Services and Foreign Affairs committees, focusing on national security, veterans’ affairs, and government accountability.
