Gabe Vasquez, New Mexico

Gabe Vasquez is a Democratic U.S. Representative serving New Mexico's 2nd Congressional District since 2023. Born in El Paso and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico before returning to Las Cruces, he graduated from New Mexico State University and worked as a community organizer, wildlife corridor advocate for the New Mexico Wildlife Federation, and Las Cruces city councilor before running for Congress. He serves on the Agriculture and Natural Resources committees, focusing on border community investment, public lands conservation, water policy, and supporting rural and agricultural economies across southern New Mexico.
