John Curtis, Utah

John Curtis is a Republican U.S. Senator from Utah, elected in 2024 after serving in the U.S. House since 2017. A Brigham Young University graduate, he worked as a businessman and served as mayor of Provo for eight years, where he focused on economic development and was named one of the top mayors in the country. In Congress he founded the Conservative Climate Caucus — the first Republican caucus dedicated to climate policy — and has focused on public lands, energy innovation, technology, and finding market-based solutions to environmental challenges while maintaining a fiscally conservative record.
