Spencer Cox is the 18th Governor of Utah, serving since 2021 and reelected in 2024. A Utah State University graduate with a J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, he practiced law, served as a city councilman and mayor of Fairview, then represented Sanpete County in the Utah House before being appointed Lieutenant Governor in 2013. As governor he has focused on bipartisan governance, launching the "Disagree Better" campaign to model civil political discourse, investing in water conservation, expanding rural broadband, and positioning Utah as a leader in technology and aerospace.
